The Educational Equity Committee promotes and supports equity in education for girls.

We also support middle school-aged girls’ attendance at the week-long Tech Trek math/science/technology camp sponsored by California AAUW and held annually each summer at Stanford University. Scholarship funds are raised by the ‘Book and Brownie’ sales held biannually in conjunction with the Cupertino and Sunnyvale City Wide Garage Sales, and through generous donations by individuals and companies.

Previously, we have co-sponsored the “Expanding Your Horizons” math/science workshop for Junior High School girls, held at San Jose State University . Although we are not currently offering these workshops.
